Sharing our favourite recipes...Adele Ashley's Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Adele shares one of her favourite summer desserts, it’s so easy to create and dairy-free! This recipe makes 4 servings.

What you'll need
- 2 very ripe avocados
- Finely grated zest and juice of 1 large orange
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 3 tablespoons of cacao powder (can also use cocoa powder as long as a minimum of 70% cocoa)
- 2 teaspoons of Cointreau liqueur
- Fresh berries (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon natural non-dairy yoghurt (optional)
What to do
- Halve the avocados, discarding the stones, scoop the flesh out and put in a blender
- Add the remaining ingredients (except the liqueur) and blend to make a thick cream
- Add the liqueur and blend for 10 seconds
- Put in serving bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes
- Top with berries and 1 teaspoon of natural yoghurt
