About Nkuku

Nkuku creates consciously designed interiors with a timeless, natural and pared-back aesthetic. Using natural, reclaimed and recycled materials, their collections are crafted through traditional skills that bring original character into the home. Founded in 2003, the name Nkuku (nuh-ku-ku) was inspired by a hut in Zambia, with their very first order being leather journals that remain part of the collection today.

Working with makers around the world, Nkuku celebrates craftsmanship and helps preserve age-old traditions by bringing them to a wider audience.
