PART TIME RETAIL SALES CONSULTANT
At Zofa, we make sofas simple.
We design and manufacture all of our sofas ourselves in the UK, focusing on comfort, thoughtful features, and a straightforward, no-fuss buying experience. From our showroom at Redbrick, we help customers find the right sofa for their home in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We’re now looking for a part-time Sales Consultant to join the team.
The Role
This is a customer-facing role where you’ll guide customers through our range, helping them choose the right sofa, fabric, and configuration to suit their space and lifestyle.
It’s not about hard selling - it’s about creating a positive experience and giving customers confidence in their decision.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers in a friendly, natural way
- Understand customer needs and guide them to the right products
- Talk confidently about our sofas, fabrics, and key features
- Support customers through the buying process from enquiry to order
- Maintain high showroom standards and presentation
- Assist with fabric samples and customer follow-ups
- Work with the team to drive showroom performance
About You
- Approachable, personable, and confident with customers
- Strong communication skills with a helpful, consultative approach
- Retail or sales experience is preferred but not essential
- Interest in interiors or furniture is a bonus
- Reliable and proactive, with good attention to detail
- Available to work weekends as part of a rota
Hours
- 3 days per week - Includes weekends as part of a rota
- Salary & Commission
- £16,200 per annum (equivalent to £13 per hour)
- 1.5% commission on personal sales. On-target earnings of £20,000
