As a Sofologist at Redbrick you must be determined to offer the best service you can. You must have a keen interest in interior design and be able to demonstrate that, whilst being prepared to invest time and effort in becoming an absolute sofa expert. So, if you’re an avid follower of home interest accounts on Insta, endlessly scrolling through pinterest and throwing mood boards together just for fun, then that creative flair and natural passion for interior design means you’ll be a natural fit. A team player who cares about fellow Sofologists, and who is customer obsessed, full of fun and positivity, to make our guests feel immediately at home and a pleasure to spend time with us in Redbrick.

Our Sofologists, based within the exclusive home destination store, Redbrick, will play a vital role in supporting how our guests have the ultimate sofa shopping experience. It’s never about pushing a sale or the most expensive product for a customer to buy immediately, it’s about inspiring and advising, working with a guest to find their dream sofa - however long that takes. A Sofologist will consider all aspects of their customers' home life and support them to make a choice they will love and be proud of for years to come. Sofologists care about their customers and want to develop lasting relationships. A Sofologist at Redbrick looks after their customers through to the day of their delivery and beyond, compiling an active database of past and current customers and encouraging recommendations, maintaining engagement with the V.I.C treatment. Ultimately, our customers' shopping experience is at the heart of our brand, ensuring that the right product is purchased first time, that it fits in their space, that it looks fantastic, resulting in our customers becoming our best brand advocates. Redbrick Mill is a special place, with a special Sofology experience, and a special way of delivering personal service…are you ready for it?

Ultimate Customer Experience:

  • An obsessive focus on driving a culture where every single guest receives a personalised service resulting in them choosing a product that’s ‘right for them, their home and their family’. It should be achieved by using your passion and natural flair to explain, educate and showcase our amazing designs, styles and available comfort levels. Your recommendations to your guests should always have the customer at the heart of it. If your guest is not ready to purchase, we take as much time as needed to put together wish lists, keep in touch to offer expert advice to help find that perfect choice.
  • Maintain an excellent up to date knowledge of all Sofology products and services in order to advise the customer effectively as a Sofa Expert, as well as, having a great understanding of the other Redbrick concessions - Your product knowledge should be unmatched by other Sofologists and Redbrick Concessions!
  • It’s essential that every guest purchases the right product first time, therefore, all guests should be guided through our ‘comfort station’ helping them decide the perfect one for their lifestyle, as well as, following our measuring guidelines/service to ensure the product fits perfectly into their life, and home. Every welcome and interaction should always be an experience not to be forgotten, we do this by creating a unique, fun, inspiring environment where everyone feels at home. You’ll have pride and take ownership to ensure that all visual store standards are exceptional, and it’s merchandised according to guidelines.
  • From your initial interaction right through to delivery of the perfect sofa, you take full ownership. At Redbrick, we offer an end to end personal shopping experience, by taking personal responsibility for all questions, support and delivery arranging, including a comfort guarantee call several weeks after delivery.
  • As a Sofologist at Redbrick you will naturally want to deliver great service, so we’ll make sure you’re empowered to do whatever it takes to delight our guests. Which means you will have the autonomy to make decisions both pre and post sale that make sure our service exceeds expectations at every touchpoint, good and bad - every single time.

What’s the day to day...

  • Supporting events at Redbrick or bespoke Sofology events with attendance, sourcing and arranging liaising with the marketing team.
  • Represents the Sofology brand through smart presentation and grooming standards.
  • To attend and participate in Store meetings, team development and attend training workshops.
