PART-TIME GUEST HOSTS (16 HOURS PER WEEK)
Calling all people loving, comfort crusaders! As a Guest Host at Redbrick, you’ll create comfort for each and every guest that visits us. What does that look like? Well, it could look like prepping the frothiest of latte’s, keeping our stunning sofas plumped and ready for plonking on, or even the flick of an on switch on a games console, for the kids of course! More importantly though, it will look like offering comfort in knowledge, because let's face it, nothing feels like walking into a store where everyone knows their stuff. So, whilst you can expect to meet, greet and keep things neat on the daily, you’ll also be the catalyst for ensuring our customers know they’re at home with us, and that they’re surrounded by a team of Sofologists that will support them from room planning, colour advice, all the way to getting their sofa home. So if you love people, have a natural affinity for creating comfort, and of course adore all things interiors, you might have found your destination.

Our Guest Hosts, based within the exclusive home destination store, Redbrick, will play a vital role in supporting how our guests have the ultimate sofa shopping experience. At Sofology, it’s never about pushing a sale or the most expensive product for a customer to buy immediately, it’s about inspiring and advising, working with a guest to find their dream sofa - however long that takes. As a guest host, you will kick off that journey with the warmest of welcomes, the first port of call for our guests as they enter our world. Ultimately, our customers' shopping experience is at the heart of our brand, ensuring that the right product is purchased first time, that it fits in their space, that it looks fantastic, resulting in our customers becoming our best brand advocates. Ultimate Customer Experience:
- Every welcome and interaction should always be an experience not to be forgotten, we do this by creating a unique, fun, inspiring environment where everyone feels at home. You’ll have pride and take ownership to ensure that all visual store standards are exceptional, and it’s merchandised according to guidelines.
- An obsessive focus on driving a culture where every single guest receives a personalised service resulting in them choosing a product that’s ‘right for them, their home and their family’.
- Maintain an excellent up to date knowledge of all Sofology products and services in order to advise the customer effectively where required.
What’s the day to day...
- Welcoming our customers and keeping comfort crucial, via the provision of refreshments and regular sofa maintenance etc.
- Supporting events at Redbrick or bespoke Sofology events.
- Represents the Sofology brand through smart presentation and grooming standards.
- Assisting customers with any query they have and linking them in with any internal departments required.
- To attend and participate in Store meetings, team development and attend training workshops. What’s down to me...
