You will be determined to offer the best experience for each and every Sofology customer, because nothing feels like leading a team that puts finding a dream sofa first. Like your team of sofa lovers, you will have a keen interest in interior design, and communicating that passion will come naturally. You’ll have a flair for winning hearts and minds, whilst being prepared to invest time and effort in becoming an absolute sofa expert, a font of knowledge for your team.

Our Deputy Store Leader, based within the exclusive home destination store, Redbrick, will play a vital role in supporting our Sofologists as they provide the ultimate customer experience. At Sofology, it’s never about pushing a sale or the most expensive product for a customer to buy immediately, it’s about inspiring and advising, working with a customer to find their dream sofa - however long that takes. As a leader at Redbrick, you’ll have bags of enthusiasm for creating positive vibes, you’ll bring the electric energy to amplify performance and you’ll cultivate a culture that puts coaching first. Sofologists care about their customers and want to develop lasting relationships. Your team of Sofologists will look after their customers through to the day of their delivery and beyond, compiling an active database of past and current customers, encouraging recommendations, whilst maintaining engagement with the V.I.C treatment. Ultimately, our customers' shopping experience is at the heart of our brand, ensuring that the right product is purchased first time, that it fits in their space, and that it looks fantastic, resulting in our customers becoming our best brand advocates. - An obsessive focus on driving a culture where every single guest receives a personalised service resulting in them choosing a product that’s ‘right for them, their home and their family’. It should be achieved by using your passion and natural flair to explain, educate and showcase our amazing designs, styles and available comfort levels. Your recommendations to your guests should always have the customer at the heart of it. If your guest is not ready to purchase, we take as much time as needed to put together wish lists, and keep in touch to offer expert advice continuing to help find that perfect choice.
- Maintain an excellent up to date knowledge of all Sofology products and services in order to advise the customer effectively as a Sofa Expert, as well as, having a great understanding of the other Redbrick concessions - Your product knowledge should be unmatched by other Sofologists and Redbrick Concessions!
- It’s essential that every guest purchases the right product first time, therefore, all guests should be guided through our ‘comfort station’ helping them decide the perfect one for their lifestyle, as well as, following our measuring guidelines/service to ensure the product fits perfectly into their life, and home. Every welcome and every interaction should always be an experience not to be forgotten. We do this by creating a unique, fun, inspiring environment where everyone feels at home. You’ll have pride and take ownership to ensure that all visual store standards are exceptional, and it’s merchandised according to guidelines.
- From your initial interaction right through to delivery of the perfect sofa, you take full ownership. At Redbrick, we offer an end to end personal shopping experience, by taking full responsibility for all questions, support and delivery arranging, including a comfort guarantee call, several weeks after delivery.
- As a Deputy Store Leader at Redbrick you and your team will naturally want to deliver great service, so we’ll make sure you're all empowered to do whatever it takes to delight our guests. Which means you’ll have the autonomy to make decisions both pre and post sale that make sure our service exceeds expectations at every touchpoint, good and bad - every single time.
What’s the day to day...
- Supporting events at Redbrick or bespoke Sofology events with attendance, sourcing and arranging as well as liaising with the marketing team.
- Represents the Sofology brand through smart presentation and grooming standards.
- To attend and deliver in Store meetings, team development and training workshops.

- Support on-going personal development through coaching in order to constantly level up Sofologist’s performance.
- Ensure all Sofologists are equipped to carry out their job role through regular training, coaching and role plays.
- Assess individual performance through observation, thus enabling the identification of training and development needs
- Maintain expertise through up to date knowledge of all Sofologists products, services and regular competitor analysis
- Deputise in the Store Manager’s absence
- Demonstrate Leadership Qualities acting as a role model at all times

What’s the deal...
Basic - £30k OTE - £40k
6 month OTE guarantee: We will be devising a Redbrick exclusive bonus scheme once we understand how the store trades in comparison to standard Sofology stores.
For the first 6 months we will:
- Guarantee £500 per month 95% Sales Intake Target Pot
- £250 Post Purchase
- NPS - £250
