WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

FULL / PART TIME POSITIONS

Made in Japan is a new brand to the UK, offering high quality Japanese ceramics and tableware items for both home use with retail customers via our website, and the wider hospitality industry. We pride ourselves on offering excellent customer service, care and attention to detail.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and hard-working individual to join the team. You will be responsible for ensuring all orders are picked, packed and passed to the courier correctly. The role is demanding at peak times for online orders, and you will be required to be fast-paced and efficient in the job.

Responsibilities can include:

Prepare and complete orders for deliverY
Print, Wrap, Pack, Label, Ship
Checking parcels into courier system
Conducting stock audits
Working as a team to ensure all orders are out on time
Ensuring all health & safety procedures are following at all times
Keep a clean and safe work environment
Customer experience, queries and returns
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements

The candidate should be a practical and methodical person with good attention to detail, and be happy to work individually and as part of a small team. The ability to work quickly, accurately and safely are highly desirable skills.

Ideally have experience as a warehouse worker, able to lift heavy objects, computer literate, able to answer occasional customer queries and good organizational and time management skills.

The position is highly dynamic and fast paced, and will require manual work on a daily basis.

Flexible Working Hours - between 9am -5pm with options from Monday -Sunday

We are looking for flexible individuals to provide customers with great service and help the company continue to grow.

We are based in Batley, West Yorkshire. Please consider this when applying for the position. Full on site training will be provided.

Job Types: Part-time / Full-time

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Casual dress and On-site parking provided
Flexible schedule of 7.5 hour shifts
