FULL TIME HOME SUPERVISOR

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

To be responsible in supporting the store management team, in planning and motivating staff to achieve standards in accordance with company guidelines. Taking the responsibility of running the department in absence of the Junior Manager/Floor Managers.

  • Sales within lighting and homewares
  • Stock Management within lighting and homewares
  • Store Deliveries
  • Lighting and home layouts
  • Average Transaction Value
  • Data Capture
  • Sickness/Absence History
  • Staff induction and training
  • Timekeeping

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide and maintain a high standard of customer service in the department
  • Buddying up with new team members to ensure that they are supported during their initial weeks in the business
  • In the manager’s absence, organise, direct and deploy team members to achieve maximum productivity, ensuring that they are aware of and are carrying out their duties
  • Encourage at least 40% of customer details through data capture, with the aim to communicate marketing offers and events
  • Organise team lunch rotas
  • Coordinate zoning
  • Drive team to achieve individual and department KPIs
  • Co-operate with senior management with regard to all aspects of the departments operation
  • Assist with the organisation and planning of department in line with company guidelines

  • Self motivated and show initiative in the completion of tasks
  • Working with IT systems
  • Working together with staff, colleagues and senior management.
  • Good communication skills
  • Confidence in dealing with customers both face to face and on the phone
  • Good organisational skills
