This weekend, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June, we're proud to be partnering with My Breast Cancer Support to help raise both funds and awareness for this incredible charity.
About My Breast Cancer Support
Since launching in 2018, My Breast Cancer Support has grown from a local West Yorkshire support group into an invaluable source of guidance, friendship and practical support for people affected by breast cancer. The charity was founded to support individuals receiving the life-changing news of a primary or secondary breast cancer diagnosis and continues to provide compassionate care throughout every stage of the journey.
How They Help
My Breast Cancer Support offers a wide range of services designed to support wellbeing, build confidence and create meaningful connections, including:
- Wellness days and retreats
- Pilates and dance sessions
- Weekly walks
- Monthly drop-in support sessions
- A private online community where members can share experiences, seek advice and support one another
Why Their Work Is So Important
The charity's trustees each have personal experience of the challenges that come with a breast cancer diagnosis. Their understanding and dedication help ensure that people continue to feel supported long after their hospital treatment has ended, providing reassurance, friendship and a sense of community when it's needed most.
