PART TIME DESIGN CONSULTANT
Sofas & Stuff is a fast-growing, independent furniture retailer. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful West Sussex countryside in a converted dairy, and we have a network of 17 showrooms nationwide. We are a passionate bunch, and what we don't know about sofas isn't worth knowing.
We are delighted to offer a part-time position for a highly motivated, friendly and enthusiastic individual to work at our showroom in Redbrick.
As a Design consultant you would advise customers on choosing their ideal sofa which involves patience, creativity and a great personality. You would have a flair for putting colour schemes together in the Showroom and have a natural instinct to treat customers to the highest level of Customer Service.
An outgoing personality who enjoys talking to people, you will come from a strong retail background preferable in furniture sales. You must have great communication skills, be well presented, have a positive attitude and, above all, be a people person. Although previous experience in sofa sales would be a plus it is not essential as full training will be given. Sound administration skills and computer literacy are essential. Previous experience within an interior design environment would be strongly beneficial.
To ensure there is a sales presence at all times this will involve weekend work as required. The flexibility to be able to work additional days to cover sickness and holidays will also be required.
