The story of Filmore & Union
The Filmore & Union story started in February 2011 with a casual chat amongst friends, airing frustrations at the lack of healthy coffee shop and cafe choices in York.
Soon after, the perfect test kitchen was found in Wetherby and the small, dedicated team started experimenting with recipes. Following a trip to San Francisco – the land of healthy eating and great service - Filmore & Union was created and named after two street names.
The first Filmore & Union opened in York in 2012 There are now 10 Filmore and Union cafés across Yorkshire and Newcastle.
